Leak detection does not include the repair. Boiler work requires an appropriately qualified engineer; the boiler service price does not include a separate landlord gas safety certificate. Jobs outside the listed ranges or services without a published guide require an individual quote.

KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT
Clear scope. A useful next step.
A valve leak, a cold patch or no heat?
Describe which radiator is affected and whether other rooms heat normally. Note where water appears and any recent valve or decorating work. A photograph taken safely can help explain access, but it does not establish the fault by itself.
Repair or replacement after assessment
A valve, connection or radiator body can require different work. Discuss whether the system needs draining or isolating and how access will be protected. Agree replacement parts and any wider system work separately before it starts.
Check the repair and keep the details
Ask how the repaired connection and heating performance will be checked and whether further work is recommended. Give your landlord or property manager’s authorisation details if needed. Tell us before booking if you require a particular radiator size or finish.
For a planned visit, request an appointment online. The plumber confirms attendance and the work and price are agreed before work starts. For emergencies or out-of-hours work, call 0131 210 0505.

WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG
A little clarity. A lot less worry.
Start with a phone call. Tell us what has happened and where you are, so we can discuss the right next step.
Can I book radiator repairs in my Edinburgh postcode?
Call with your full postcode and the details of the fault. We’ll confirm coverage, current availability and the appropriate next step.
What information is useful for radiator repairs?
Which radiator is affected Where any leak is visible Whether other radiators heat normally.

How quickly can a plumber get to me?
Our average response to emergency callouts is under 60 minutes. It is an average, not a guarantee: arrival depends on your location, traffic and other callouts, and outlying towns take longer. When you call, we give you an arrival estimate for your address.
What should I do if water is escaping?
If safe, turn off the relevant isolation valve or main stopcock. Keep clear of wet electrical fittings and do not attempt repairs on gas or electrical equipment. Call for professional advice.
