Transparent pricing. Clear charges.
We’re proud to be clear about our prices. Published guide charges, a clear breakdown of what is included, and your agreement before work starts. Callout, labour, parts and materials are explained separately so you can make an informed choice.
Standard hours are 7am–7pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays are out of hours. All times are Edinburgh local time.
Callout charges cover attendance and diagnosis only and are separate from repair labour. The service prices shown are labour charges only. Parts and materials are charged separately. No VAT is charged.
Service labour figures below are guides for standard-hours work. Out-of-hours labour is quoted separately. The callout fee is payable for attendance and diagnosis even if you decide not to proceed with a repair; confirm the applicable fee before agreeing to attendance.
Prices correct as of . Published prices are subject to change without notice for future enquiries. This does not change an accepted quotation or an agreed contract price; any additional work or price variation requires your agreement before proceeding. Read our pricing policy →

Published prices and future changes

The dated website figures are guide charges for the scope described, rather than a fixed quotation for an undiagnosed job. Confirm the current applicable charges before agreeing to attendance. A “from” price is the starting charge for the stated service, not a promise that every job can be completed for that amount. Published ranges are guides; work outside those ranges needs an individual quote.
What you pay for
Callout charges cover attendance and diagnosis only and are separate from repair labour. The service prices shown are labour charges only. Parts and materials are charged separately. No VAT is charged.
The callout is payable for attendance and diagnosis even if you decide not to proceed with a repair, provided that charge was explained and agreed before attendance. Leak detection excludes the repair. Boiler servicing covers service labour and does not include a separate landlord gas safety certificate.
Standard and out-of-hours charges
Standard hours are 7am–7pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays are out of hours. All times are Edinburgh local time. Out-of-hours labour is quoted separately from the out-of-hours callout charge. A daytime weekend booking does not qualify for weekday standard-hours prices.
Quotes, estimates and additional work
Ask for the callout charge, labour and any other known costs before agreeing to a visit. We will agree the total price, or how it will be calculated, before you commit; any repair, parts or additional work needs your agreement before it starts.
A fixed quotation covers the scope and conditions agreed with you. A website price change does not itself change an accepted quotation or agreed contract price. Any change to the agreed scope or price requires your agreement before that additional work starts. An estimate is an approximation, not a fixed quotation; we explain its assumptions, how charges are calculated and any proposed revision before proceeding.
Where a charge cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we explain the calculation method and any known additional costs before you commit. Ask for the breakdown and agreement in writing so you can keep a record.
Provisional bookings and payment
Online and WhatsApp submissions remain provisional until the plumber confirms attendance. Email verification and a two-hour calendar window do not reserve prepaid labour or fix a repair price. The website takes no payment or card details. Any deposit, payment method and due date must be explained and agreed separately. For emergencies or out-of-hours jobs, call 0131 210 0505.

How much will the work cost?
Standard-hours callout starts from £75 for attendance and diagnosis only. Callout charges cover attendance and diagnosis only and are separate from repair labour. The service prices shown are labour charges only. Parts and materials are charged separately. No VAT is charged. Standard hours are 7am–7pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. How quickly can a plumber get to me?
Our average response to emergency callouts is under 60 minutes. It is an average, not a guarantee: arrival depends on your location, traffic and other callouts, and outlying towns take longer. When you call, we give you an arrival estimate for your address.
What should I do if water is escaping?
If safe, turn off the relevant isolation valve or main stopcock. Keep clear of wet electrical fittings and do not attempt repairs on gas or electrical equipment. Call for professional advice.
Prefer to book on WhatsApp?
