Helpful answers before you call.
Is the photo check a diagnosis?
No. It is an automated first look at a single photo to help you judge how urgent the problem is and stay safe. An engineer confirms the fault on site.
Do you keep my photo?
No. The photo and note are sent securely to our AI provider, Anthropic, to produce the assessment, and we do not store them.
Will the photo check give me a price?
No. We never quote from a photo. Our callout and labour prices are on the pricing page, and the price is agreed with you before any work starts.
What if it is an emergency?
If water is pouring, coming through a ceiling or near electrics, turn off the stopcock and call 0131 210 0505 straight away. You do not need to send a photo first.
Prefer to book on WhatsApp?
WhatsApp booking requests are for weekday daytime visits, Monday to Friday within 7am–7pm, Edinburgh local time. One same-day slot is offered each weekday, at least 3 hours ahead; for a same-day booking, call 0131 210 0505 to confirm.
Choose an available date and then a two-hour time window in the chat. Bookings are provisional until the plumber confirms. The work and price must be discussed and agreed before work starts. Online and WhatsApp bookings are not available at weekends: for a weekend or bank holiday visit, call 0131 210 0505 (out-of-hours pricing applies). Standard rates apply Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Callout, labour, parts and materials are separate charges: agree all applicable charges before committing to a visit.
